Many teens desire to work and get a job. Often times, they do not have any prior experience or someone to verify their work ethics or speak to their abilities. BeDazzle-Do offers girls a chance to be involved and a part of a fun & exciting opportunity. We provide mentorship and practical work experience for girls to experience what it takes to "work at a job". Through direct-support experience, they learn skills in accountability, dependability, meeting expectations, following direction, assertiveness and leadership. In teaching and perfecting these qualities, we help the girls identify their skills and build self confidence.
Girls can accrue high school credit/volunteer hours and create experiences that will add to more effective and content-driven essays as they pursue academic excellence in applying for college scholarships. Our ultimate goal is to help the girls develop a positive image and self-esteem, to feel better about themselves, their learning styles, and about their possibilities in school and in life. If they use the knowledge and experiences gained with BeDazzle-Do, they can create their destiny and change their lives in meaningful ways.
