Q. What ages are your parties for? Are the parties strictly for girls?

Bedazzle-Do Parties are perfect for girls ages 4-16. 
 

Q.  What is the duration of the party?

A Bedazzle-Do Package is maximum 2 hours in length, and includes bedazzling all the invited guest (children's) hair and happens simultaneously with your party.

 

Q.  What is the minimum and maximum number of girls permitted at a party?

Pricing is based on a minimum of (eight) 8 girls. If less than the ten (10) invited guest attend, you will still be charged for eight (8) girls. Parties over 10 girls may require a second stylist and you will be charged $12 for each additional child.  We prefer to have the final headcount & final party details 48 hours prior to the party and keep in mind, the birthday girl is included in the final count.

 
Q.  What happens if there is inclement weather?

Bedazzle-Do will do its best to uphold any party commitment it has made; however, we do value the health and well being of our hostesses as well as your family and friends. In the case of severe weather, Bedazzle-Do will contact you to discuss the situation. We reserve the right to reschedule your party, and will proactively work with you to identify a suitable new date, based on mutual availability. If you choose to cancel your party without the consent of Bedazzle-Do Parties, please remember, your deposit is non-refundable.  Please allow ample space in your driveway or in front of your home for us to park, as we will have various items to and from your home.  In case of rain or snow, entrance through a covered garage would be greatly appreciated!

 

Q.  If the weather is nice, can I choose to have a party outdoors?

Weather permitting, a party held outdoors is just fine.  We do request that an area is designated to set up our accessories.  Some great places to have an outdoor party include a decorated garage, patio or deck or one of our preferred vendor locations. Bedazzle-Do will not be responsible for providing or applying sunscreen or bug spray. If either is used, you will be held responsible for any damage to Bedazzle-Do supplies or accessories. Also, please keep in mind if you choose to have your party outdoors, we recommend that you also have back-up suitable indoor space to accommodate the number of party guests should the weather turn undesirable.

 

Q.  What happens if Party Girl (Guest of Honor) becomes ill prior to or on the day of the party?

We will gladly work with you to choose an alternate date for your party, based on mutual availability. However, you will be responsible for notifying the party guests.

 

Q.  Who takes care of a guest who becomes ill, does not want to participate, or displays unruly or unwanted behavior?

A guest who is ill, a disruption, or a distraction will need to be attended to by you or the child’s parent (if present). Bedazzle-Do Parties’ responsibility is to ensure that all guests are having an enjoyable and memorable experience. We will not sacrifice the enjoyment of all for the disruption of one.

 

Q.  What happens if a guest arrives late?

Because our parties are based on a pre-determined scheduled time, they work best when all guests arrive on time (the time stated on the invitation). If a guest should arrive late, she may join the party already in progress. A late-arriving guest will be still be allowed to participate; however, they will have to go at the end of the line.  This is necessary in order to provide the least amount of disruption to the party, and your understanding and cooperation is appreciated. If this takes us beyond the maximum time span, an additional fee will be required. 

 

Q.  May Parents and/or Siblings of Guests stay for the party?

Unexpected guests and/or siblings of guests (who were not included in the final RSVP headcount) may stay as long as they are supervised by you or another parent, and do not prove to be a disruption to the group as a whole. Our party packages cover only the guest of honor and their guests.  Please include any siblings in the final guest count if you would like for them to participate in the party activities.  Please remember, some of our accessories and craft items contain small parts that may not be appropriate for very small children. We encourage you to please maintain close watch over those children that are not particpating. Any broken or damaged BeDazzle-Do items are the resposibility of the host. 

 

Client Obligations

  • Please provide a spacious table and ample room for us to set up (a long  
       table and at least 2-3 chairs - [preferably away from the main party area).
  • Provide a gathering place for parents of the guests if you want them to
       stay, preferably in another room or away from children if they are not 
       assisting.
  • Provide a smoke free environment.
  • Please remain with the party at all times.

 

Q. When having a BeDazzle-Do Hair Party, can the kids catch Lice?
The transfers of lice will only occur through using combs, brushes or any head to head contact. Although we mainly use our finger to style hair, ALL OF OUR BRUSHES AND COMBS ARE SANITIZED PRIOR TO EACH USE. Our hair artists use a non-allergenic sanitizing spray and sani wipes in between each use as well as hand sanitizing spray after every hairstyle. Our product label reads:

If in fact lice are spotted in a child's hair, they will not miss out on the fun, but be allowed to do a craft activity and the hosts will be notified at the end of the event.

 

Q. What styling products do you use?
If needed, the only styling product we use is a water based setting lotion that we spray to gather hair. We
DO NOT USE ANY COLOR-BASED SPRAYS, GLITTER OR CHEMICAL PRODUCTS which need to be washed out. Our styles can easily be dismounted at the end of the day.

 

Deposits and Payments: 
If you are interested in booking BeDazzle-Do for your next event, please fill out the reservation form (on Site Map). We recommend you book 3-4 weeks in advance (4-5 weeks in the Spring/Summer months).
Once you have chosen a party/event date and time, we will hold your reservation for one week to give you time to complete the guest list, sign the party agreement, and return it to us with your deposit. Your deposit will secure your reservation, and we will begin finalizing your party details (color scheme / final number of guest / etc.)

To fully secure a date, we require a non-refundable deposit of $75 (cash, personal check, Money Order, or PAYPAL), or unless otherwise noted, 3 weeks prior to party. A service fee of 6% will be added to ALL party balances and a 2% fee on any amount paid using Paypal.

 

The balance must be paid in full 3 days prior to the day of the party via Paypal, check or MO. There is a
$35 fee for any check that is returned or has non-sufficient funds (NSF).

A gratuity is not required, but is accepted and always appreciated for a job well done.
